Darren Hobson's Full tube chassis VW drag car is certainly nothing to laugh at. VW Warwick 2009 saw the debut of the car & Darren first pass in a dedicated Drag Car.
The Twin Supercharged Engine combo is no stranger to drag racing fans. Previously seen & heard in Mike Kristens "Cranky One" The engine and Transmission was mated to the Tube chassis of Dave & Lorraine Stokers LMS Engineering Beetle "Wasted Wages".
The Tube Chassis is just what Mikes original package was dying for to tame down some of those aggresive wheel stand launches.
After a couple of meetings to get acquainted, Darren is looking forward to some good track time and some even better ET's.
